The first Britdoc Festival was held at Keeble College, Oxford in sweltering 30+ degrees, July 26-28th. Organised by the Channel 4 Documentary Film Foundation team and sponsored by Nokia and More 4, the three packed days featured screenings, debates, masterclasses, a daylong pitching forum and, of course, plenty of meeting and networking opportunities. Peter Dale, head of More 4, highlighted the importance of the festival:-
